I had a whole post in the queue for today and then decided it was too much of a rant, too much spilling of my brain, when I had already written what needed to be said on Facebook -- a tiny post that seemed to really speak to people so I share it here today:

As long as there are humans, bad things will happen. There is no way to prevent tragedy. To think so is an illusion. But we can root out the violence in our own hearts and love one another unconditionally. Love one another so well that when tragedy strikes, we know that the people involved felt love until the last breath and the people left behind are encased in a love so powerful that they are safe in their grief and continue to live in love beyond the tragedy.
