Dance to This: Max Richter

For this piece of music, we'll experiment with weight and grounding.

Stand and breathe deeply.  Imagine the breath comes up through your feet and exits the same way.

Feel the top part of the body hang heavy.  Arms, shoulders, chest, head...all heavy.  Leave them heavy for the whole piece. This does not mean that they don't move but just that they have a weight that creates momentum and always takes them back to this hanging down.

Focus your work in the lower body.
